About Me

I joined Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) in 2008. I was born and raised in Somerset, Kentucky. As a student, I loved the Christian community of Asbury University, and I am now ecstatic about being a professor in the beautiful Christian community at IWU. I teach a wide variety of math classes at IWU with Modern Abstract Algebra being one of my favorites. Even more than math (which is saying something!), I love being with my wife Karen and children Nathanael Arden (b. 2009), Cherish Grace (b. 2011), Paisley Joy (b. 2013), and Zion Kase (b. 2016).  I love reading, running, learning, and the outdoors.  But my first love now and forever is for my Beautiful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
